Festival Of Tree's 2010

We just celebrated Tonya’s 50^th Birthday (or as we like to call her Tonka toy) and also marked 12 years since her passing  I reflect on her life and the lessons she taught many of us, Live life to the fullest don't let anything stand in your way, except when your on the phone with her. You all think I like to talk, wow those that knew her would know she could talk on the phone for hours. When she passed it was not a bad thing (as weird as that sounds) she lived a good life and had done all she needed here in this life. I remember one of our last conversations together she said "hey at least I don't have to deal with all the crap that is going to happen." She was right; the world is so crazy with all the wars abroad, and not to mention how mess up our own country is. Now when I write all these things about Tonya that does not mean she walked on water. Boy oh boy did we fight, for some reason she did not like it when I would put my arm around her in the mall or at a store. She felt was making it look like we where together and then the boys would not hit on her. I knew this made her mad so I of course did it as much as I could!! What else are brothers for? She is very dear to my heart for one BIG reason, she is my 18 years older Twin. That makes sense to those that know me and my family and if it does not make sense you can ask me. She is an example long after she left this earthly world. So in her memory and to celebrate her many talents our family decided to put a Christmas tree in this years Festival of Trees put on by Primary Children’s Hospital. The whole family worked on it from putting wires on the decorations to Chad making the Tree top from Ballett shoes Donated by Kevin Semans  From Fast Track physical therapy  and sports medicine. Tyson remember that night we went over to the grave site at like 2am and we put the balloon and flowers for her birthday? The only balloon in the whole place that was moving was hers. Ya little things like that I know she is there. The Point of this whole thing. Thank You Tonka Toy, you are not forgotten!
